Who is responsible for unattended children in a department store?
I run a retail store in a large department store and have children without parental supervision running in and out all day. I just want to know that if anything were to happen to the child while in my store who would be held responsible? In some cases parents leave us to “babysit” their children the entire time they do their shopping.

If they are young children, and the parents are not around, take the child to an office, page the parents, and if they don’t show up, call the police.
