question by jen : Toddler & Speech “Putting two words together “…?
When I read that after a certain age of the infant “puts together two words,” it is, the child is to combine two words or just be able to use two words, rather than one? My daughter will say “get it”, “read”, “all gone” and so on, but they are not their original ideas. She says what they say belongs to us. So that you two words together Best Answer:

Yep, it is! Once they begin, two words together, it’s not long before they speak complete sentences!
