This is starting to sound good,,,is it right though?
I wonder if this is ok ? Alot of people are saying to me about my different ” Christian ” beliefs that sound a bit earthy and mystical..kind of tied to the oneness with the creation…like my saying, ” the earth is my mother ” …Many have said to me ” whatever works for you “. Before that would have been sacraligious but now I think I hear Jesus speaking to me thru it all, I think He is trying to tell me He is freeing me from rigidity and pouring me into His arms and rivers of His graces. What do you think ? ( I love Jesus with my whole being btw ).

There is a LIBERAL ‘jesus’… sort of like the Persons that say……” Can’t WE All…. Just Get Along ?”

That person… IS NOT… the Jesus of the Bible…!

Jesus made it Quite Clear in Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4….What is THE “ONLY” STANDARD….!

COMPROMISE…. is what got ISRAEL… into trouble in the OT!

COMPROMISE…. is what got the Corinthians Church into trouble in the NT!

Perhaps some verses… will put you back on the Right Path ?

***(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.

***(Ephesians 5:10) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

***(2Timothy 3:15-16) And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
(2Tim 3:16) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

***(Luke 16:29-30-31) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
(Luke 16:30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
(Luke 16:31) And he said unto him, If they hear not = Moses and the prophets, = neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

AND allow me to show you something… Please?

(2Timothy 3:16) All Scripture

is given by inspiration of God,

and is profitable

for doctrine, = RIGHT WAY !

for reproof, = WRONG WAY !

for correction, = TURN AROUND !

for instruction in righteousness: = THIS WAY !

Thanks, RR

God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
I too have over the past year, shed many of the presuppositions of the past. The rigidity of some theology is the same as that which the Pharisees and the lawyers poured out onto the people and burdened them. Here I hear the words of Christ and the main message is not to judge. I fully believe Christ is the only way to God and none are saved through any other. But just as Christ warns that some Christians who think they are going to heaven will in fact go to hell –

Matthew 7
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

will there not be others who are His in spirit and not in name?

if not then how do you explain these:

Matthew 25
31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

I think the love is so intense it can make you feel touched, warm and complete in a way which has not happened to you (or to me) in the past. Prayers are more powerful, there is no threat in anyone’s beliefs any longer even though you know they are not right – and Jesus recognizes the Spirit in a man as He reads the heart – listen –

1 Samuel
6And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him.

7But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

and what He said of the faith of a Roman centurion (not a Jew – perhaps a follower of Mithras)

Matthew 8
5And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

11And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

12But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Yes – love and love deeply and give it freely. (I know you do.) and please read CS Lewis’ works. He was where you are going to get to. You may lose Christian friends but you will not lose Christ.
