HomeBabysittingQ & A: Help for child care fees?
Posted in Babysitting on 23rd November 2010

question by Sarah M : help on baby-sitting fees ?
I’m starting to an old friend babysit planning. She had “cheap babysitter” for the school year applied for and I offered, but do not know how much should I offer to charge? I have 3 children of my own, one of which will be in school, while I have your daughter. Her daughter is shy until a few weeks in the same age of my youngest son (3 years old in November). I just want her 3 days a week for about 3 hours in the morning. How much do you think I should charge? Hourly? Weekly? Monthly? As this is an ongoing agreement, I did not know it is more convenient for a weekly fee rather than hourly? Thanks for any reply:) Best Answer:

40 a week … and this includes breakfast and / or lunch (since you are feeding your own children are used to really like to go out of your way, but it’s a nice thing to “add on” to your services.) She is your friend and in providing you do it because you are their friend and not make a lot of money from it … plus the two talk to each other for a bit and you can do some things while playing them. Plus, it’s not very long working hours and its unusual Sun …
