New jersey child support question?
Ok. Really now. Is this possible? My bf says his ex “took him off child support” that once he was on it and “paid a long time” the kid is ten. I’ve been with (him) for close to three years. Idk what that means. Paid a long time? So. The kid isn’t 25 and he’s your kid. But regardless. I said you better hope she doesn’t take you to court to get money. He states she took him to court to take him OFF support. For GOOD! Is that even possible in the state of new jersey? He claims once a persons taken off she can’t put him back on but how the hell legally could he be taken off for good? Id just assume he’s getting a free ride right now and she hasn’t pushed the issue. All I know things don’t change this woman isn’t keeping him off it.

This sounds like his parental rights were terminated. Which would be a big character issue to me.
